Ms. Mlambo is the visionary and Director of Lungelo Youth Development (LYD). She started the Center in 2012 with only a handful of women, a small yard, and a dream to better the lives of those in the Mzingazi community where she felt the need was strong. In 2017 Ms. Mlambo was a finalist for the Businesswomans' Association's annual Business Achievers Award for her work at LYD, and in 2018 was featured as a "local heroine" on national Women's Day.
